Manufacturing Technician I

Responsibilities

• Operate automated equipment to produce biological assays, reagents, and consumables
• Complete accurate documentation including data capture, logbooks, and inventory batch records
• Perform daily maintenance on production equipment and maintain laboratory cleanliness
• Manage physical inventory by processing, aliquoting, vialing, and labeling materials
• Prepare and report inventories for raw materials, reagents, and coated plates
• Follow all laboratory safety precautions and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Contribute to process improvement and assay development for manufacturing

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a cleanroom or lab bench environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting
• Mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Engineering
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working within cGMP or ISO certified settings
• Familiarity with MRP, ERP, or JDE systems
