Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing operating steps including equipment preparation, cleaning, setup, and operation of multiple pieces of equipment (Weighing, Granulation, Blending, Compression, Coating, Branding, and Encapsulation)
• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and instruments
• Execute assembly, disassembly, and setup of equipment
• Execute and record data according to production standards and ALCOA requirements
• Generate and close work orders as needed
• Maintain 5S standards within the manufacturing room
• Assist in the generation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Support EHS programs and follow established safety policies and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR a Technical degree with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or food industry supporting manufacturing or packaging processes
• Ability to work the 3rd shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge
• Computer literacy
• Skills to complete mid-level corrective/preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities
