About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level electrical, controls, and mechanical troubleshooting for production equipment.
- Monitor area performance to identify equipment or process issues and drive them to closure.
- Support safety and Lean goals while optimizing equipment utilization and product quality.
- Coordinate with operators, engineers, and trades to manage equipment startup, repairs, and process changes.
- Assist engineers in the design, documentation, and implementation of new or modified production equipment.
- Support preventive maintenance efforts and oversee trades during necessary repairs.
- Develop and deliver training packages for new equipment to production and support groups.
Requirements
- High school diploma and 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows for file management and documentation.
- Ability to support off-shifts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-year technical degree in electrical, mechanical, or controls engineering.
- Experience with complex mechanical devices and controls troubleshooting.
