About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level electrical, controls, and mechanical troubleshooting for production equipment.
  • Monitor area performance to identify equipment or process issues and drive them to closure.
  • Support safety and Lean goals while optimizing equipment utilization and product quality.
  • Coordinate with operators, engineers, and trades to manage equipment startup, repairs, and process changes.
  • Assist engineers in the design, documentation, and implementation of new or modified production equipment.
  • Support preventive maintenance efforts and oversee trades during necessary repairs.
  • Develop and deliver training packages for new equipment to production and support groups.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows for file management and documentation.
  • Ability to support off-shifts as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-year technical degree in electrical, mechanical, or controls engineering.
  • Experience with complex mechanical devices and controls troubleshooting.
