Manufacturing Technician C

Responsibilities

• Perform precision mechanical assembly and testing of rocket engines and propulsion systems
• Handle precision clean parts within a laminar flow environment
• Execute diversified, semi-repetitive operations following standardized methods and procedures
• Troubleshoot mechanical assemblies, company-manufactured tooling, and pressure testing
• Read and interpret product drawings, process specifications, and department procedures
• Coordinate with maintenance, supervision, and engineers for equipment set-up and calibration
• Use computer systems and ERP software to retrieve work instructions and manage manufacturing modules
• Maintain cooperative working relationships and communicate effectively with the production team

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 6 years of relevant experience
• OR an Associate's Degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience
• Proven skills in precision mechanical assembly
• Proficiency in mathematical calculations
• Ability to read and interpret technical product drawings

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of electrical test equipment such as DMM and oscilloscopes
• Knowledge of strippers, crimpers, and installing solder splices
• IPC 620 certification
• Familiarity with 5S and lean manufacturing procedures
• Experience with Oracle and Delmia
• Knowledge of Laminar Flow environments and FOE/FOD controls
• Experience with the assembly and test of electromechanical components
