Manufacturing Technician C

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform complex rework on parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Execute work across multiple related work instructions, including assembly, test, and rework.
• Evaluate suspected failures and determine appropriate disposition paths in accordance with quality procedures.
• Identify failure trends, recurring defects, and process weaknesses to support continuous improvement.
• Recommend improvements for processes, fixtures, tooling, or work instructions to enhance efficiency and repeatability.
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor to lower-level technicians.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve production issues.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation to support product traceability and audit readiness.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant manufacturing experience, OR an Associate's Degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient job knowledge in manufacturing or production environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and test requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing complex failure analysis and rework in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar quality management systems.
• Proven ability to identify process gaps and support corrective or preventive actions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with Engineering and Quality departments.
