Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve manufacturing technologies, processes, and equipment for stator and rotor bar production
• Collaborate with development and design departments to implement, stabilize, and optimize production processes
• Conduct feasibility analyses for new developments and design changes
• Create and update manufacturing instructions and technical specifications
• Approve or restrict manufacturing procedures, including process steps, tools, and materials
• Propose and manage technical investments to increase efficiency and productivity
• Implement sustainable, high-quality manufacturing methods and monitor compliance with guidelines
• Ensure stable, safe, and economical manufacturing processes in both series and project production
• Work closely with development, quality, production, and maintenance teams to develop automation solutions

Requirements

• Technical degree (University/FH or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Several years of relevant professional experience in plant construction
• Knowledge of hydropower and turbogenerators is an advantage
• Proficiency in both German and English
• Strong MS Office skills
• Knowledge of SAP (ERP system) is preferred
• High level of initiative and an organized, independent working style
