Manufacturing Technician A

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on sub-assemblies or end products
• Follow engineered assembly processes, including adjusting, fitting, or aligning parts as required
• Use hand tools such as long nose pliers, screwdrivers, soldering irons, and wrenches
• Perform hand soldering on electronic assemblies
• Maintain consistent quality and productivity levels in a fast-paced production environment
• Identify technical problems and contribute to process improvements
• Collaborate with team members to accomplish production tasks
• Traverse the production floor for the duration of the shift

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's Degree with 0-2 years of related experience
• Ability to perform hand soldering
• Ability to use various hand tools
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to stand and traverse the production floor for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong mechanical background
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and Bills of Material
• J-STD-001 certification
• Experience with L3Harris products or continuous improvement processes
