Manufacturing Tech Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and provide training to Production Technicians levels 1-4
• Coordinate a team of technicians to ensure production deadlines and standards are met
• Oversee productivity and ensure production quality meets company standards
• Conduct safety briefings and ensure compliance with safety policies
• Assemble control panel and switchgear components with minimal direction
• Modify and retrofit existing structures to meet customer specifications
• Read and follow blueprint diagrams for assembly and fabrication
• Perform fabrication tasks including saw cutting, drilling, and wire crimping
• Provide coverage for the Electrical Assembly Manager as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 4-5 years in mechanical assembly or mechanical repair
• Knowledge of electrical system wiring (DC & AC) 1 + 3 phase
• Experience with control systems and PLC
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, calipers, and tape measures
• Demonstrated experience in panel assembly and wiring
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
