Manufacturing Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own the deployment and configuration of the MES across manufacturing operations, including work center setup, inventory locations, and routing definitions
• Serve as the interface between engineering and manufacturing to translate design intent into manufacturable workflows
• Build and maintain real-time visibility dashboards for work-in-progress tracking and production throughput
• Ensure manufacturing data integrity by monitoring parts transactions, work order closures, and material flows
• Configure demand planning workflows and translate production schedules into system forecasts and capacity planning inputs
• Design and implement new manufacturing workflows to support evolving product lines and production scaling

Requirements

• B.S. in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Systems Engineering
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing operations or production engineering
• Technical aptitude with software systems, including ability to build dashboards or write scripts (SQL, Python, or JavaScript)
• Experience with MES, ERP systems, or production management software
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and trade studies
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary

• Experience in fast-paced, highly technical engineering environments
• Proven ability to translate complex physical production systems into digital workflows
• Strong analytical skills for identifying trends from production metrics
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for system and workflow issues
