About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Building Automation System (BAS/QBAS) using Siemens Desigo CC
  • Collaborate with process subject matter experts to transform requirements into digital automated solutions
  • Support commissioning and qualification efforts, including Automation Installation Verification and Check Out
  • Perform technical root cause analysis, incident investigations, and troubleshooting on utilities and building automation controls
  • Provide 24/7 onsite/on-call operational support, including preventative and corrective maintenance
  • Support new product and technology introductions through automation engineering assessments and configuration changes
  • Maintain detailed engineering documentation and support computerized systems validation in a GxP environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience as specified in basic qualifications
  • Experience with Siemens Desigo CC building automation systems
  • Knowledge of PLC and field device/instrumentation technologies
  • Familiarity with GAMPs, GMPs, and 21 CFR Part 11 regulatory requirements
  • Experience with Rockwell industrial automation hardware

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Biotech Engineering
  • Direct experience in building control engineering and troubleshooting within a GMP biopharmaceutical production facility
  • Proficiency with system integration using OPC, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, and DeviceNet technologies
  • Experience in Capital Project Lifecycle Management, including conceptual design and detailed engineering
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills
