About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, and support full-stack applications using Java and .NET
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver IIOT/OT and PLM software solutions
  • Contribute to the implementation and sustainment of Solumina MES software, including interfaces and customizations
  • Develop methods for data and system integration between Oracle ERP, MES, and smart manufacturing applications
  • Participate in digital engineering and digital thread initiatives
  • Perform operational support for computing and software needs across various manufacturing environments
  • Explore and apply AI-enabled approaches to enhance department productivity
  • Partner with cybersecurity professionals to deliver secure, compliant solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and five years of directly relevant experience
  • Proficiency in full-stack software development with an emphasis on Java and .NET
  • Experience developing front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js)
  • Experience with database design and development (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in Computer Science or a highly related field
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tooling (e.g., Git, CI/CD)
  • Knowledge of IIoT integration protocols such as OPC UA or MQTT
  • Experience supporting discrete or process manufacturing operations
  • Familiarity with cloud/hosted infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and container platforms like Kubernetes
  • Experience working in Operational Technology (OT) environments
