Manufacturing Systems and Simulation MP&P Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, and designs for software systems, automated hardware, and industrial robotics
• Develop and maintain code and integrate software components into fully functional systems
• Perform engineering activities including the development, integration, and testing of automated hardware systems
• Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, and peers to understand operational and performance expectations
• Support agile project management, project estimation, and planning
• Influence and continuously improve engineering processes, quality, safety, and reliability

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Math, Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, or Chemistry
• 3+ years of industry experience in aerospace or large-scale manufacturing
• Programming experience with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of experience integrating automated manufacturing equipment such as CNC, PLC, and robotic systems

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience (Level 3) or 9+ years (Level 4)
• Experience with data modeling techniques and scalable data architectures
• Proficiency in C# (ASP.NET CORE MVC/Blazor), Python, C++, or Linux/Cloud Development
• Knowledge of manufacturing assembly, GD&T, metrology, and computational methods
• Ability to communicate complex technical information across electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering teams
