About the role
Responsibilities
- Support production operations through material staging, kitting, and line support to ensure components are available for production schedules.
- Coordinate material flow between receiving, warehouse, and production areas.
- Manage shipping and receiving tasks, including inspecting incoming materials, processing transactions in the ERP system, and preparing outbound shipments.
- Support inventory control through cycle counts, stock accuracy checks, and demand fulfillment tracking.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Maintain adherence to work instructions, quality standards, and 5S requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
- Working knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with ERP systems (SAP, M3, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Forklift certification or significant experience operating industrial equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with inventory control methods such as cycle counting and FIFO.
- Previous experience in industrial environments involving machining or spindle remanufacturing.
