About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily manufacturing operations in a cleanroom environment, ensuring adherence to production timelines and quality standards.
- Support and emphasize safety and quality commitments, making critical decisions within the department.
- Ensure strict compliance with all GMP rules, product documentation, SOPs, and FDA requirements.
- Facilitate and verify appropriate training for employees, including GMP, job skills, and safety protocols.
- Manage team performance through feedback, recognition, and developmental processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.
- Collect and analyze data to resolve process improvements and identify root causes for exceptions.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain documentation related to attendance, efficiency, and safety.
Requirements
- BS degree in a scientific or engineering field with 0-3 years of manufacturing experience; OR
- High School Diploma with 5+ years of equivalent manufacturing experience and at least 1 year in a leadership position; OR
- High School Diploma with 5+ years of military leadership.
- Knowledge of GMP and FDA requirements.
- Strong technical writing and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment (requires specific garbing procedures).
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to interface with multiple departments.
- Proficiency with computer systems and data analysis.
