About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and control day-to-day activities for an assigned shift within a production zone
  • Plan, review, and approve daily attendance records while assigning and directing work
  • Ensure production activities align with production plans, customer schedules, and deadlines
  • Maintain strict adherence to quality procedures and compliance with all customer requirements
  • Support the RPS/8D process in collaboration with the Production Manager to meet quality standards
  • Implement, coordinate, and control cleanliness and order in the production area using 5S processes
  • Manage and execute the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) process to prevent machine loss or damage
  • Coordinate and control machine set-up and changeover processes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Manage zone and machine safety, ensuring all safety requirements and legal regulations are fulfilled
  • Maintain all production records in accordance with ISO, TS, and EMS standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business field
  • 6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing operations
  • 6 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience with Plastic Injection Mold, Blow Mold, or component assembly
  • Experience with Visual Manufacturing, including KanBan, Takt Time, and Visual Work Instructions
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (Takt, One-piece flow, Pull, 5S)
  • Previous experience in the automotive industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of handling TS 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements
