About the role
Responsibilities
- Support manufacturing operations by ensuring quality, productivity, and process improvements within an engine value stream production cell
- Oversee production operations including shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management
- Manage and supervise the work of manufacturing production disciplines within the Operations function
- Coordinate material and logistics activities to ensure availability and smooth operations
- Monitor cell performance and productivity to maximize efficiency
- Assist in scheduling and sequencing of work to optimize productivity and meet production schedules
- Interface with customers to understand needs and ensure satisfactory service standards
- Drive cost reduction and process improvement initiatives
Requirements
- University Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (or an Advanced Degree in a related field)
- Previous experience working in a technical or operational environment
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by regulatory requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior supervisory experience leading a team of 10+ in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as ACE, Lean, or Six Sigma
- Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP
- Knowledge of manufacturing metrics, corrective actions, and mixed model production
- Strong conflict resolution and cross-functional leadership skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
