About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing operations by ensuring quality, productivity, and process improvements within an engine value stream production cell
  • Oversee production operations including shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management
  • Manage and supervise the work of manufacturing production disciplines within the Operations function
  • Coordinate material and logistics activities to ensure availability and smooth operations
  • Monitor cell performance and productivity to maximize efficiency
  • Assist in scheduling and sequencing of work to optimize productivity and meet production schedules
  • Interface with customers to understand needs and ensure satisfactory service standards
  • Drive cost reduction and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • University Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (or an Advanced Degree in a related field)
  • Previous experience working in a technical or operational environment
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior supervisory experience leading a team of 10+ in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as ACE, Lean, or Six Sigma
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP
  • Knowledge of manufacturing metrics, corrective actions, and mixed model production
  • Strong conflict resolution and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
