Manufacturing Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide manufacturing personnel to ensure safe handling and disposal of hazardous waste.
• Manage team development through cross-training, coaching, feedback, and conflict resolution.
• Schedule work priorities, coordinate maintenance activities, and monitor production workflow.
• Ensure a safe work environment by reviewing production processes and adhering to OSHA requirements.
• Train employees on operational processes, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
• Analyze statistical data and charts to identify trends and implement continuous improvement plans.
• Manage shift administrative tasks including time reporting, attendance, and overtime documentation.
• Participate in site Emergency E-squad activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of manufacturing/production experience OR a High School diploma/GED and 4 years of manufacturing/production experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• Understanding of DOT and Hazardous Material Regulations.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience in project leadership or team leadership.
