Manufacturing Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing activities and personnel during the midnight shift to ensure safe, productive, and environmentally conscious operations.
• Guide the safe handling and disposal of hazardous waste and ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Cultivate a high-performing team through coaching, feedback, cross-training, and effective conflict resolution.
• Schedule work priorities, coordinate maintenance activities, and monitor workflow to meet engineering directives.
• Train employees on operational processes, safety requirements, and equipment usage.
• Analyze statistical data and charts to identify trends and implement continuous improvement plans.
• Manage shift administrative tasks including time reporting, attendance, and overtime documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of manufacturing experience OR a High School diploma/GED and 4 years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and understanding of DOT and Hazardous Material Regulations.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment (private, public, government, or military).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to lead teams and resolve complex process issues.
