Manufacturing Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide manufacturing personnel to ensure safe handling and disposal of hazardous waste in an environmentally conscious manner.
• Schedule work priorities, coordinate maintenance activities, and allocate work assignments to meet engineering directives.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to employees on operations, processes, and safety requirements.
• Monitor and remediate process equipment downtime while maintaining safe operating limits.
• Analyze statistical data and charts to identify trends and implement continuous improvement plans.
• Manage shift administrative activities including time reporting, attendance, and vacation planning.
• Participate in site Emergency E-squad activities and ensure compliance with OSHA and corporate policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of manufacturing experience OR High School diploma and 4 years of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of DOT and Hazardous Material Regulations.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in project leadership or team leadership.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
