Manufacturing Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily manufacturing operations for the night shift to meet production requirements and budgetary commitments.
• Drive operational excellence in areas such as cost reduction, discard reduction, and annual productivity improvements.
• Implement control systems and training to eliminate product discrepancies and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Support and emphasize safety and quality commitments, maintaining a clean and safe work area using 6S principles.
• Manage staffing decisions and resolve disciplinary issues, including investigations and terminations.
• Foster a continuous improvement culture based on Lean Manufacturing, QLP, and DMAIC problem-solving.

Requirements

• B.S. or equivalent degree, preferably in a technical discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in all aspects of the manufacturing process.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and World Class manufacturing methods.
• Proficiency in cGMP and FDA guidelines, including process validation.
• Ability to analyze statistical data, financial reports, and technical information.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and oral.
