Manufacturing Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced software tools to support calibration, validation, and rigorous testing of electromechanical and robotic systems.
• Manage requirements and set expectations with cross-functional teams, including hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers.
• Perform hardware modifications to printers and test setups to facilitate experimental processes.
• Own the full lifecycle of the test tools ecosystem, including design, validation, documentation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Use data science to analyze production lines and provide actionable insights to the operations organization.
• Continuously improve development and deployment processes to streamline software releases across global factories.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Two years of experience in software integration with embedded systems.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Linux.
• Experience using command-line tools and SSH for Linux system development.
• Demonstrated experience developing, testing, and maintaining software tools for robotics, electromechanical, or manufacturing systems.
