Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective implementation of process and product quality control to meet customer specifications.
• Communicate customer-specific requirements to cross-functional teams and ensure process alignment.
• Verify adherence to Control Plans and Work Instructions through regular process audits.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone methodologies.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation including PFD, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
• Support APQP activities and participate in new product release and validation.
• Conduct measurement studies including Cp, Cpk, and MSA to ensure equipment and process capability.
• Manage non-conformances by ensuring containment, corrective actions, and CAPA implementation.
• Drive continuous improvement through Lean Six Sigma projects to reduce scrap and non-conformances.

Requirements

• Engineering degree.
• 4–10 years of experience in manufacturing quality.
• Proficiency in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Internal Auditor certification for TS 16949 or ISO 9001.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
