Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Generate, implement, and manage a manufacturing-focused quality program to ensure operational reliability of global data center campuses
• Conduct vendor audits and evaluate on-site trend data to establish strategic improvement objectives
• Develop and monitor quality program metrics to identify root causes of concerning trends and implement corrections
• Mentor and develop off-site vendor teams by providing feedback and defining performance objectives
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Design, Supply Chain, and Facility Operations to ensure operational readiness
• Audit quality activities of vendor and project team staff to assess conformance with manufacturing expectations
• Recommend and verify the implementation of corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed (anticipated 50% to 60%)

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Improvement, or Mission Critical Engineering/Construction
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience
• Experience applying root cause analysis, statistical process control, and quality tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, fishbone diagrams)
• Demonstrated experience managing the output of complex projects, programs, or suppliers
• Strong communication skills with experience influencing stakeholders and delivering executive presentations
• Ability to travel 50-60%

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified ASQ Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, or Auditor
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
• Experience utilizing Autodesk BIM360 Field and/or ACC Build software
• Technical knowledge of data centers and critical electrical and mechanical systems
• Experience in supplier performance management
