Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to identify and provide feedback on potential gaps
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured inspection plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate customer escalations and feedback
• Investigate the causes of non-conformances and implement effective solutions
• Identify, record, document, and track internal manufacturing indices
• Liaise with internal teams, including Engineering, Logistics, and Commodity, to identify system gaps and improve manufacturing flow requirements
• Track and report on quality assurance metrics

Requirements

• Technical undergraduate degree or equivalent QA experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record of driving problem-solving methodologies
• Proficiency in operational excellence tools such as Lean manufacturing, FMEA, 8D, PDCA, and Six Sigma
• Experience in Capital Equipment building, preferably within the semiconductor industry
• Knowledge of new product introduction (NPI) systems, processes, and standards
• Ability to influence across functional organizations and drive meaningful change
