Manufacturing Quality Assurance Manager

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain quality standards for products, processes, and systems to ensure compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements.
• Oversee incoming inspection, in-process quality checks, and final product validation.
• Track and report key quality metrics such as First Pass Yield, defect rates, and PPM.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using PDCA, Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce scrap and rework.
• Manage supplier quality performance, including audits, qualification, and the coordination of PPAP processes.
• Partner with engineering, production, and logistics teams to resolve quality concerns and prevent production disruptions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop quality inspectors and team members while fostering a "quality-first" culture.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of quality methodologies including Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and 8D.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with PPAP, CAPA, and SPC tools.
