Manufacturing Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead projects related to advanced engineering design, analysis, and manufacturing development and prototyping
• Manage complex government initiatives and lead cross-functional project teams
• Develop project scopes, work breakdown structures, technical solutions, and statements of work
• Manage resource allocation, baseline budgets, schedules, and risk
• Develop technical reports, presentations, and project updates for reviews
• Coordinate with stakeholders, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure requirements are met
• Support strategy development, business growth, and proposal development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or manufacturing
• Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing and project management
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes for large heavy structures (commercial, industrial, or DoD vehicles)
• Knowledge of engineering design, analysis tools, and traditional machining/joining processes
• Proficiency with scheduling tools like MS Project
• Ability to travel up to 25% or more
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a technical or business field
• 8+ years of manufacturing and project management experience
• Project Management Certification (PMP)
• Federal Government contracting experience
