Manufacturing Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic work plans for manufacturing process transfers and new product introductions.
• Support continuous manufacturing processes in final assembly, including manual assembly, sub-assembly, automation, packaging, and sterilization.
• Lead process validations for equipment, materials, methods, and computerized data systems.
• Establish optimal, productive, and capable manufacturing processes and implement process controls.
• Manage projects related to cost reduction, capacity improvement, and continuous improvement.
• Provide training and technical support to production and quality personnel during process transfers.
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and organizational engineering policies.
• Report progress periodically to ensure adherence to master programs and plant metrics.

Requirements

• Professional degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electronic, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Biomedical, or related field).
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing processes and continuous improvement (Process, Manufacturing, or NPD Engineer).
• Intermediate proficiency in CAD software, specifically Pro/Engineer (3D parametric solid modeling).
• Intermediate technical English skills (reading and conversation).
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project.
• Experience using statistical tools like Minitab and Lean manufacturing methodologies.
