Manufacturing Program Manager (MPM)

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional program teams to drive engineering development and implementation for product subsystems or components.
• Manage project lifecycles by developing schedules, budgets, resource allocation plans, and logistics.
• Identify technical risks and create comprehensive mitigation plans to report to executive management.
• Coordinate activities between internal development partners and external contract manufacturing teams.
• Communicate program progress, issue analysis, and escalations to product stakeholders.
• Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of new technologies and process automation.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.

Requirements

• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 4-7 years of work experience in engineering development, implementation, or project planning.
• Proven experience with project planning tools and software packages.
• Demonstrated experience in people management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Kanban principles.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement processes.
• Proficiency in JIRA and software development lifecycles.
• Strong background in risk management and new product development.
