About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives across engineering, supply chain, production, and quality to ensure seamless PCBA program execution.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules with clear milestones, tracking progress and mitigating risks.
  • Lead NPI (New Product Introduction) builds and facilitate design-transfer to manufacturing.
  • Manage product change control (ECOs), configuration management, and production ramp plans.
  • Drive failure analysis (FA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor manufacturing process KPIs including cycle time, FPY, yield, and defect rates.
  • Coordinate with R&D, PE, QA, and supply chain teams to resolve technical issues and ensure production readiness.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in PCBA manufacturing processes.
  • Deep knowledge of SMT processes (reflow, pick-and-place, solder paste printing, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of inspection and testing methods (AOI, SPI, X-ray, ICT, FBT).
  • Proven experience in Root Cause Analysis using methodologies such as 8D, Fishbone, or 5 Whys.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • IPC-A-610 Certification.
  • Proficiency in IPC J-STD-001 standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
  • Experience with process validation, NUDD, PFMEA, and control plans.
  • Familiarity with statistical tools and metrics such as SG, GRR, CPK, and DnP.
  • Experience with DFx (Design for Excellence) and BOM structure management.
