Manufacturing Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test complex aerospace builds, including LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, and avionics
• Follow detailed work instructions, safety procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Execute test procedures for component and system-level testing and maintenance
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and support preventative maintenance on data acquisition systems
• Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company production deliverables
• Participate in process improvements and maintain floor stock inventory
• Champion safety requirements and manage shipments using pallet jacks or kit carts

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a high traceability manufacturing environment or relevant trade school certification
• 1+ years of experience using hand tools and precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches)
• 1+ years of experience using test tools and test methods to validate systems
• Experience reading, interpreting, and working from engineering documentation and drawings
• U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or lawful admission as a refugee/asylee is required due to export control laws

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, automotive, medical device, aviation, or military high-reliability environments
• Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware, and clean room requirements
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment
• Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other heavy equipment
• Basic knowledge of electrical, optical, and mechanical systems, antennas, or satellite components
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing roles and responsibilities
