Manufacturing Production Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) goals are met.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts using Lean manufacturing and Watlow Business System (WBS) methodologies.
• Manage team performance, attendance, and manpower allocation to meet capacity requirements.
• Solve operational problems quickly using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methods.
• Foster a safe and organized work environment through 6S and MDI practices.
• Collaborate with leadership, HR, and HS&E teams on staffing and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production leadership.
• Proven experience with Lean manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand or move frequently throughout the shift.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and time/attendance systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certificate.
• Formal leadership training or prior supervisory experience.
• Bilingual communication skills.
