Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of daily operations including staffing, quality control, and schedule adherence
• Hold the team accountable for following established procedures and conduct standards
• Drive process improvements and manage effective employee relations
• Balance quality, safety, morale, productivity, and cost to achieve positive results
• Manage effective training, qualification, and performance management for employees
• Identify opportunities for operational improvements and address production challenges

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of production experience in manufacturing roles with direct reports and shop floor accountability
• Experience with scrap management, safety behaviors, and quality controls
• Proficiency in workforce scheduling, overtime management, and labor deployment
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for daily and monthly reporting
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a lean manufacturing environment (5S, Six Sigma, Gemba walks, etc.)
• Associate degree or higher
• Experience with ERP or SAP systems
