About the role

Responsibilities

  • Optimize manufacturing production processes to improve safety, ergonomics, efficiency, and first-time quality.
  • Evaluate new product designs to develop and implement related manufacturing processes and suggest design modifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate equipment, systems, materials, and processes into a cohesive manufacturing system.
  • Manage the ISO process for tracking templates and assembly aids used by production.
  • Interface with production departments to specify equipment needs and integrate DC tools into assembly processes.
  • Prepare capital project requests and manage their implementation.
  • Apply practical problem-solving techniques to resolve systemic failures in processes or equipment.
  • Provide informal guidance to new team members and lead projects or processes as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Project.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with CAD systems, specifically AutoCAD or Solidworks.
  • Experience with Six Sigma or other structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, SQL Scripts, and Data Analytics.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish).
