Manufacturing Production Planner

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing capacity and resource use
• Assist with updating production orders and schedules in company planning systems and ensure data accuracy
• Monitor production progress, flag deviations, and work with production and operations teams to address issues
• Coordinate material supply and inventory checks to support scheduled work
• Participate in planning meetings and communicate schedule changes or updates to relevant teams
• Track performance indicators such as schedule adherence and on-time delivery
• Contribute to process improvement efforts within the production planning function

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in operations, supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field
• Up to three years of experience in planning, production coordination, or manufacturing support
• Exposure to integrated planning systems
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear and structured written and verbal communication skills
• Authorized to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent graduates with relevant co-op or internship experience
