About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing capacity and resource use
- Assist with updating production orders and schedules in company planning systems and ensure data accuracy
- Monitor production progress, flag deviations, and work with production and operations teams to address issues
- Coordinate material supply and inventory checks to support scheduled work
- Participate in planning meetings and communicate schedule changes or updates to relevant teams
- Track performance indicators such as schedule adherence and on-time delivery
- Contribute to process improvement efforts within the production planning function
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in operations, supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field
- Up to three years of experience in planning, production coordination, or manufacturing support
- Exposure to integrated planning systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear and structured written and verbal communication skills
- Authorized to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent graduates with relevant co-op or internship experience
