Manufacturing Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing machinery and perform soldering and component assembly
• Interpret blueprint drawings and schematics to build products to required specifications
• Perform visual and quality inspections to ensure all products meet established standards
• Meet or exceed productivity goals while maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Complete production paperwork and data collection entries accurately
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards, including the use of required protective gear
• Conduct "buddy checks" to confirm team members' work meets specifications

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and operating instructions
• Basic math and statistics skills for calculations and data interpretation
• Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist
• Ability to sit or stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience in production or on an assembly line
• Experience working with chemicals
• Experience with cable manufacturing processes
