About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Assemble and solder components according to technical specifications
- Interpret blueprint drawings, schematics, and shop orders to build products
- Perform visual and quality inspections to ensure products meet standards
- Conduct "buddy checks" to verify the accuracy of team members' work
- Complete production paperwork and enter data into the ITS system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with safety standards
- Meet or exceed established productivity goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and operating instructions
- Basic math and statistics interpretation skills
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist
- Ability to sit or stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing or assembly line experience
- Experience working with chemicals
- Experience with cable manufacturing processes
