Manufacturing Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Assemble and solder components according to technical specifications
• Interpret blueprint drawings, schematics, and shop orders to build products
• Perform visual and quality inspections to ensure products meet standards
• Conduct "buddy checks" to verify the accuracy of team members' work
• Complete production paperwork and enter data into the ITS system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in compliance with safety standards
• Meet or exceed established productivity goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and operating instructions
• Basic math and statistics interpretation skills
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist
• Ability to sit or stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or assembly line experience
• Experience working with chemicals
• Experience with cable manufacturing processes
