Manufacturing Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate reel-to-reel or barrel plating equipment following approved processes
• Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE when handling hazardous materials
• Identify defects in raw materials during the pay-off process
• Perform solder splices and track them through each production stage
• Execute line maintenance and assist take-up/set-up operators or supervisors
• Maintain production quality and work to reduce scrap levels
• Manage raw material stocking and operate pay-off machinery

Requirements

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain strong organizational skills
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist
• Ability to sit or stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes
• Willingness to work in a chemical and high-decibel environment while adhering to safety regulations
• Middle school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a plating or chemical manufacturing environment
