Manufacturing Production Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant operations in accordance with safety, environmental, quality, cost, and productivity standards.
• Develop and maintain an integral process control system through the automation of productive operations.
• Optimize resource use and eliminate process risks by improving operation sequences and applying updated electronic processor and instrumentation technology.
• Lead the implementation of Process Safety Management (PSM) standards, specifically regarding process knowledge administration and operating procedures.
• Identify, reduce, and control environmental impacts inherent to the production process.
• Manage and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, environment, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Budget and coordinate annual and monthly plant production to minimize downtime during product changeovers.
• Develop improvement projects for control systems, including implementation plans, training, and evaluation of new technologies.
• Supervise the production team, identifying training needs and evaluating performance and competencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• Advanced English proficiency (90%).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Operations Engineer.
• Strong expertise in mass and energy balances, thermodynamics, and fluid flow.
• Experience in the design of process equipment, specifications, and instrumentation.
• Proficiency in statistical process control and total loss control.
• Technical proficiency with Controllogix (5/500/5000), Rslinx, RsView32, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to perform financial mathematics for ROI analysis and cost-benefit studies.
