Manufacturing Procurement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Raise, record, and monitor purchase orders within the ERP system
• Procure electromechanical equipment, technical components, and manufactured parts
• Collect and assess supplier quotations, evaluating cost, lead times, and quality
• Partner with internal departments to resolve nonconformities and meet contractual obligations
• Compile monthly supplier KPI reports and participate in weekly delivery reviews
• Support supplier monitoring, evaluations, and audits, including international on-site visits
• Maintain and update the Approved Supplier List

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management
• Proven track record sourcing electromechanical tools, technical parts, or manufactured components
• Proficiency in using ERP platforms for purchase order management
• Strong negotiation, communication, and quote analysis skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally to supplier sites
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality management systems
• Background in aerospace, defense, aviation, or precision machining
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T principles
• Experience with supplier cost reduction projects and KPI analysis
