About the role
Responsibilities
- Raise, record, and monitor purchase orders within the ERP system
- Procure electromechanical equipment, technical components, and manufactured parts
- Collect and assess supplier quotations, evaluating cost, lead times, and quality
- Partner with internal departments to resolve nonconformities and meet contractual obligations
- Compile monthly supplier KPI reports and participate in weekly delivery reviews
- Support supplier monitoring, evaluations, and audits, including international on-site visits
- Maintain and update the Approved Supplier List
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain management
- Proven track record sourcing electromechanical tools, technical parts, or manufactured components
- Proficiency in using ERP platforms for purchase order management
- Strong negotiation, communication, and quote analysis skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally to supplier sites
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 or similar quality management systems
- Background in aerospace, defense, aviation, or precision machining
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T principles
- Experience with supplier cost reduction projects and KPI analysis
