Manufacturing Process & Equipment Specialist

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, validate, and technically receive current and new equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Oversee equipment installation, commissioning, and operational stabilization.
• Design and implement technical training programs for engineers, supervisors, and operators.
• Develop, update, and standardize technical procedures, instructions, and best practices.
• Execute technical diagnostics and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for failures or operational deviations to maximize OEE and productivity.
• Act as a technical liaison between suppliers, engineering, maintenance, and production teams.
• Support client plant tours by providing technical expertise in Spanish or English.
• Drive continuous initiatives in automation, digitalization, and advanced analytics to improve predictive maintenance and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in industrial maintenance (preventive, predictive, and corrective), automation, or industrial processes.
• Proven experience in equipment commissioning and process optimization.
• Expertise in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), industrial automation (PLC, VFD), and instrumentation and control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP.
• Technical English proficiency (ability to read manuals and engage in basic communication).
• Experience in heavy manufacturing or the transformer sector is preferred.
