Manufacturing Process Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Support machining and assembly operations by interfacing with administrative areas and following up on processes
• Manage indirect purchase requisitions and ensure timely delivery and payment to suppliers
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as productivity, scrap rates, and material consumption
• Assist in process validation by collecting and measuring samples and preparing reports
• Support small-scale projects including device implementation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Create technical drawings using AutoCAD
• Review and update process documentation, including operating instructions and inspection plans

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a higher education degree in Technology or Engineering (Automation, Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production, or related fields)
• English proficiency for reading technical documents and manuals
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Knowledge of AutoCAD for technical drafting

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Experience or familiarity with manufacturing systems, simulation, and process mapping
