Manufacturing Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs & Centerlines)
• Support day-to-day performance improvement including speed, yield, and scrap reduction
• Collaborate with R&D, project engineering, quality, and maintenance teams
• Conduct process audits and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Monitor and analyze production data for process optimization
• Lead teams through focused Kaizen events
• Create and maintain value stream maps (VSM) and bottleneck analyses
• Utilize statistical process control (SPC) to monitor performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
• 3-5 years of experience in production, maintenance, or process engineering
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food industry
• Proficiency with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and AI agent maintenance
• Availability to travel to multiple sites in the GTA for shift support

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the food manufacturing industry
• Advanced knowledge of statistical process control (SPC)
