Manufacturing Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes and set up new production lines for new product introduction (NPI) and mass production
• Design process flows, workflows, and PFMEA to ensure quality and productivity
• Collaborate with machine and tooling engineers to evaluate machine and jig designs
• Lead machine, jig, and tooling trials and define technical requirements for suppliers
• Prepare work instructions, machine setting standards, and comprehensive process documentation
• Troubleshoot quality and technical issues related to equipment and processes during all production phases
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and equipment performance
• Support suppliers during machine setup, trial runs, and issue resolution
• Comply with company policies regarding 5S, Kaizen, EHS, and social responsibility

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or process engineering
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as NX or equivalent
• Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Excellent English communication skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automation, machine design, or robotics
• Background as a Production, Automation, or Machine Design Engineer
• Experience designing jigs, tooling, or automated production lines
• Proficiency in Japanese language skills
