About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of process technologies and manufacturing equipment for RF and microwave applications
  • Set up new production lines and recommend improvements to existing processes
  • Oversee the development of precision assembly fixtures and tooling for prototype and production phases
  • Lead design review meetings and monitor New Product Introduction (NPI) for manufacturability
  • Drive continuous improvement using lean principles, RCA, and design of experiments (DOE)
  • Improve safety, quality, and productivity through ergonomics, time studies, and automation
  • Identify opportunities for waste removal and cost reduction

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in electronics or electromechanical manufacturing
  • Knowledge of RF and Microwave component assembly and packaging
  • Experience with semiconductor assembly, die and wire attach, and encapsulation
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Solidworks
  • Strong understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and problem-solving techniques
  • Experience with mechanical reliability testing and related equipment
