Manufacturing Process Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure stable manufacturing processes within Pack and Module production lines to achieve yield, throughput, and OEE goals
• Support selection, evaluation, and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment
• Lead engineering support during equipment installation, commissioning, validation, and production ramp-up
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Maintenance teams to maintain control plans and in-process quality controls
• Troubleshoot process-related issues and drive corrective and preventive actions
• Develop and maintain process documentation including SOPs, Work Instructions, and Control Plans
• Design and execute process experiments and analyze data for optimization
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and cost reduction

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Materials, or Manufacturing Engineering
• 3–10 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation
• Familiarity with quality systems including PFMEA, SPC, APQP, MSA, and PPAP
• Experience with problem-solving tools such as 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, and Six Sigma

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in lithium-ion battery, automotive, or advanced manufacturing industries
• Knowledge of battery pack and module assembly processes
• Experience with automated assembly equipment
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
• Experience in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments
