About the role
Responsibilities
- Update, maintain, and communicate electrical Bill of Operations (BoO) standards to ensure consistent execution across global plants
- Partner with vehicle assembly plants to drive the adoption and implementation of electrical manufacturing processes
- Identify gaps in plant execution and implement corrective actions, standardized work, and error-proofing improvements
- Use quality data, including EFTQ, warranty, and defect trends, to prioritize initiatives and measure impact
- Develop and execute action plans to achieve EFTQ targets and ensure BoO compliance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in electrical manufacturing, product engineering, or quality within a high-volume production environment
- Hands-on exposure to vehicle electrical systems such as harnessing, modules, connectivity, or end-of-line validation/testing
- Experience resolving production or quality issues using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Working knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and tools, including PFMEA and Control Plans
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive actionable solutions in fast-paced production environments
- Strong communication and influencing skills to drive adoption of standards across diverse teams
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% for domestic and international plant support
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with vehicle program launches
- Direct experience in vehicle assembly manufacturing
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience
