Responsibilities

• Oversee assembly and testing processes
• Direct SMT/PCB line for quality
• Own plant metrics (SQDC) and improvements
• Manage budget and reduce costs
• Build and lead skilled teams
• Deploy and sustain TPS practices
• Launch and optimize new production cells
• Partner for New Product Introduction (NPI) readiness
• Lead vertical integration and insourcing processes
• Ensure and reinforce safety compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience
• 5+ years of management/supervisory experience with direct reports
• Hands-on experience in electromechanical assembly (mechanical fits, harnessing, wiring, actuators, sensors)
• Demonstrated lean/TPS fluency and continuous-improvement habit
• Ownership of SQDC metrics with a track record of improvement
• Understanding of financial practices including capital equipment analysis and cost accounting

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive manufacturing experience
• Experience in robotics, automation, or aerospace
• Experience scaling a new line or facility from low to high volume
• Familiarity with ERP/MES systems
• Ability to drive and lead change initiatives
