Manufacturing Operator

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work instructions and operation sheets
• Learn to set up and operate production equipment including milling/grinding machines, furnaces, and coating machines
• Use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure part quality
• Obtain operator certification to accept or reject parts
• Perform required total preventative maintenance (TPM) on machines
• Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, and production personnel to resolve machining problems

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
• Strong computer skills
