About the role
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, disassemble, and clean complex production equipment for specialty injectables and polymer bulking processes.
- Perform all duties in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and cGMP standards to ensure "Right the First Time" quality.
- Maintain a clean room environment, including required gowning (Tyvek, gloves, masks, goggles) and facility cleaning.
- Accurately record data in notebooks, lab forms, and batch records, performing necessary mathematical calculations.
- Act as a second checker to ensure production activities are correctly performed and adhere to approved specifications.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and participate in continuous improvement and deviation investigations.
- Handle hazardous raw materials and cleaning solutions following all applicable safety procedures and policies.
- Train other Manufacturing Operators and Technicians within the Specialty Injectables team.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- STEM Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Technical Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of experience, or High School Diploma with 4+ years of technical/manufacturing experience).
- Strong working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP).
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more).
- Ability to wear a respirator for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
- Proficiency in basic computer software and mathematical calculations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification.
- Experience with aseptic technique and working in an aseptic environment.
- Knowledge of Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay ($27.50 - $29.00 per hour).
