About the role

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, disassemble, and clean complex production equipment for specialty injectables and polymer bulking processes.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cGMP standards to ensure "Right the First Time" quality.
  • Work within a clean room environment requiring full aseptic gowning, including Tyvek coveralls, masks, and gloves.
  • Record accurate data in notebooks and production records, performing mathematical calculations to support processes.
  • Act as a second checker to ensure all production activities are correctly documented on batch records.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and participate in continuous improvement and deviation investigations.
  • Handle hazardous raw materials and cleaning solutions following all applicable safety procedures.
  • Train other Manufacturing Operators and Technicians on specialized job duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • STEM Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., Technical Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of experience, or High School Diploma with 4+ years of technical/manufacturing experience).
  • Strong working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP).
  • Proficiency with basic computer software and mathematical calculation skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more) and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to wear a respirator for extended periods (up to 4 hours).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with aseptic technique and working in sterile environments.
  • Knowledge of Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
